Copper, nickel rise on increased demand

NEW DELHI, Dec 14: Prices of copper and nickel rose up to Rs 3 per kg at the local non-ferrous base metals market today due to increased demand from consuming industries.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries mainly led to rise in copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4×4) rose by Rs 2 and Rs 3 to Rs 436 and Rs 1,072-1,073 per kg, respectively.
Following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 107-113, nickel plate (4×4) 1,072-1,073 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 436, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 142,lead imported 140, aluminium ingots 150, Aluminium sheet cutting 151, aluminium wire scrap 153 and aluminium utensils scrap 150. (AGENCIES)
