Copper, lead weaken on low demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 17: Prices of copper and lead eased by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on subdued demand from consuming industries.
Traders said muted demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market mainly led to decline in copper and lead prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and lead ingot and lead imported were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 405,  Rs 121 and Rs 128 per kg, respectively.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 124-130, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 790-795, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 405, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 121, lead imported Rs 128, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
