KATHUA, May 30: A police constable ended his life by jumping before a running train in Dayala Chack area of the district.
As per police sources, a police constable posted at district Reasi identified as Manu Partap Singh, son of Purshotam Singh of Ward Number 6, district Kathua ended his life by jumping before Varanasi Express from railway bridge at Dayala Chack.
On getting information, GRP rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Hiranagar for postmortem, which will be conducted tomorrow.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered in this regard and investigation started o ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
