RAJOURI, Sept 17: A police constable was electrocuted at village Thandi Kassi during construction work of his house in district Rajouri today.
The deceased has been identified as Surjit Singh, son of Shiv Ram Singh of Thandi Kassi. The mishap took place when the cop had mounted the roof top of his house during construction work. He was trapped in the live electric cables and received severe electric shock. He was rushed to Rajouri hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
