JAMMU, Feb 15: A cop of Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed while three others were injured in accident near Fly Over area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bus Stand Police Station, police sources said.
The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Chander. He was posted HC in District Special Branch (DSB) Jammu, sources said, adding that the injured persons including a lady were shifted to GMCH Jammu where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Two vehicles involved in the accident have been seized, while a case under FIR Number 8/2020 under relevant Sections has been registered at Bus Stand Police Station and investigation started.
