JAMMU, Aug 30: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police was today booked for allegedly beating a driver of a school bus here.
“A constable namely Chaman Lal, this afternoon thrashed a driver of a school bus when his private car was hit by the bus near Channi Himmat area”, police sources said.
The cop abused the driver and thrashed him in full public view. Police rushed to the spot but the cop, deployed in the Security Wing, escaped from the spot.
Counter FIRs have been registered in this regard with police station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
