JAMMU, Dec 30: Youth National Conference leader Yawar Masoodi has asked the Spices Board to take up the construction of the Saffron Park (Saffron Trade Centre) in Pampore on war footing so that all the facilities will be available to the farmers.
He added that approval to setting up of Saffron Production and Export Development Agency (SPEDA) Prime Minister and the Union Cabinet will give a flip to the trade and export of saffron.
The Agency will also help in overall development of the Saffron trade and the growers will be the direct beneficiaries of this initiative, he added.
