Congress leaders misleading J&K people: Balbir

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 27: Reacting to the statement of Congress leaders made during party’s programme in Rajouri that J&K witnessed worst in absence of Congress government, J&K BJP Spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan today said that Congress leaders are trying to mislead the people as the ground realities and known to one and all that J&K suffered a lot during Congress rule.
In a handout, Rattan said that Congress always promoted dynastic rule, introduced culture of corruption, discriminated refugees, women, SCs, border people and exploited youth on the name of employment and now being out of power, its leaders are trying to regain their lost ground in view of next elections in J&K by making false claims.
“It would have been better had the Congress leaders accepted the anti-Congress wave among masses,” he maintained adding that the people are wise enough to understand what Congress leaders claim because the people have seen ground realities themselves for decades together and know well that it was Congress during whose governments J&K was worst sufferer,” the BJP Spokesman said.
Balbir questioned Congress leaders to clarify as to why citizenship rights to refugees from West Pakistan were not granted by Congress.
He also talked about J&K getting IIT, AIIMS, Central and Cluster Universities etc during BJP rule.
