JAMMU, Nov 19: Congress party candidate from Bishnah constituency Gulchain Singh Charak said that people have understood the significance and role of Congress which is keen to safeguard the interest of the people.
Charak assured the people that he will devote his exclusive attention for the development of the constituency. He said this, while addressing public meetings in Bishnah constituency.
He pledged to serve people even better, if elected to the Assembly and also asked the party workers to develop better liaison with the common people and inspire them to strengthen hands of the Congress party.
Charak further emphasized upon people not to fall prey in wrong hands that have done nothing except illusions.
He asserted that Congress Party has a concrete and decisive policy regarding restructure and development of the infrastructure which has been punctured due to the wrong decisions, policies and implementations in the recent past.
He added that since the electioneering of the Congress party has picked up in Bishnah constituency considerably, all the party workers from top to bottom level have been advised once again, by the party to carry out an extensive publicity drive in all the nook and corners of the constituency to mobilize the villagers to exercise their precious vote in support of their Congress candidate.
“The party workers have been called upon to organize more and more Jan Sampark Sabhas to project the works done by Congress”, he added.
Besides a large number of villagers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and Congress workers in strength participated in these meetings held at different villages of the town including village Kool.
The local Congress leaders who spoke during these meetings were Capt (retd) Harshvardan, Madan Lal Bhagat, Om Parkash Saini, Waryam Chand, Dr Raghubir, Sarpanch etc.
