Congress has solutions to people problems: Indu Pawar

JAMMU, Aug 6: A meeting of Congress workers was held at Hiranagar, which was presided over by Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Indu Pawar.
While speaking, Pawar discussed various issues for remedial measures. She impressed upon the unity of workers at gross root level and assured that only Congress party has solution of the problems  being faced by people of the nation.
Congress has always believed in project and schemes benefiting the poor and large masses, may it be Right to Education, Women Empowerment, MGNREGA or Food Security, Pawar added.
She told that Food Security Bill when implemented will ensure that no body in the country will die of hunger and starvation as food grains essential for survival will be available to every soul of this nation.
This will also help In fighting malnutrition, prevailing in the country and common man will have better health as it will cover 66 percent of citizens of this country as such this will be a historic legislation and largest food programme in the world.
Food grains will be available at the cheapest rate, she said, adding that wheat will be available at Rs 2 per kilograms, rice at Rs 3 per kilograms. 5 kilograms of food grains per person per month will be provided to an individual under the programme, she informed.

At the end, Veena, district Kathua president and organiser of the meeting presented vote of thanks.
