Congress flays BJP led Govt for unemployment

JAMMU, Feb 14: Senior Congress leader, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma flayed the government led by BJP at Centre for allegedly being responsible for the growing unemployment in the country.
In a public meeting at Billawar Sharma said: “Modi-Shah’s BJP government at Centre is making false promises with the youth.”
Manohar quoted the recent report by National Sample Survey Office to claim that India’s unemployment rate in 2017-18 was at 6.1 per cent which is 45 year high.
He further said that it is the duty of the government to provide employment opportunities to the youth but the present government is dividing the country and youth on communal lines.
The Congress leader demanded regularization of daily wagers, CP workers and other such categories of workers in the PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, PDD and other departments.
Sharma said that Congress extends full support to the protest of daily wagers demanding regularization of their jobs.
Ramesh Singh, Karan Dev Singh, Surinder Singh, Buddhi Singh, Som Raj, Tara Chand Padotra, Sham Sapolia and others were also present in the meeting.
