JAMMU, Jan 27: Failing to divert the attention of people from the urning issues including corruption, high inflation and uncontrolled unemployment, the Congress leaders are now issue such statements which carry no weight.
This was claimed by Janata Dal (U), State president, Ghulam Qadir Wani while addressing a press conference here today.
Mr Wani said that by merely issuing statements Congress party can never salvage its sinking ship and better for Congress would be to change its policies and start work for the development of people in its remaining term.
Lambasting National Conference Government in State, he said it is too much serious about the separatists and their future, but not for the common people, adding that the Government’s recruitment policy is not the employment but harassment of the educated youth only.
Wani further said the NC-Cong Coalition Government in the State has failed to stop fast spreading corruption, adding that the curtailment of clauses from RTI rule is a big failure of this Government.
On the occasion, Ranjeet Singh from Akhnoor was announced as provincial president Jammu of Janata Dal (U) Students Front.
Prominent among others who joined the party included Surinder Singh, Sunny Singh, Japal Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Abhinash Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Pankaj Sharma and Vikram Singh.
