BILLAWAR, Nov 24: Congress Party candidate for Billawar Assembly segment Dr Manohar Lal Sharma Minister of State for Cooperatrive Finance, ARI intensified door-to-door campaign in Kandi villages of Billawar constituency.
As a part of this Manohar Lal Sharma organised a series of meetings at Sallan, Dinga Amb, Pangoli, Charyartha, Dhabi, Pacca Kotha, Pallan Parnalla, Banode, Madoon and adjoining areas.
While addressing the gathering, Sharma assured the villagers to forward their demands and he would fulfill them in record time. He also said that Congress Party is the only secular party and exhorted people to strengthen it. He appealed party workers and the people of different villages in the Kandi area of Billawar constituency to remain united and propagate party policies from door to door to make definite win of him in the Assembly elections.
Other prominent persons of the party present on the occasion included Block president Dr Narinder Vaid, Dr Tara chand, Sarpanch Karandev Singh, Badri Nath, and party workers.
