JAMMU, Sept 22: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has alleged that PDP-BJP regime is polarising situation in the State.
“Present Govt is trying to save face because of failure of all the hoax promises made to public to get petty political gains,” JKPCC Executive member Mohammed Sharief Niaz today said while addressing Congress workers meeting at Gondoh Bhallessa areas of Doda district.
He said, “Coalition partners know that they can not fulfill the promises made to public so they are trying to polarise the situation in State to divert the attention of public.”
The former MLA said both parties are spreading venom in the respective provinces, adding, “people should get united for brotherhood, communal harmony and peace and should give befitting reply to fringe”.
He said both political parties despite having different ideology are in coalition only to share power and not to address genuine demands of public.
Mr Niaz said PDP, which was very much concerned about the relief and rehabilition of flood victims of erstwhile Doda and Kashmir before election, has completely forgotten it now.
“People have not been given compensation and affected families of remote areas are feeling cheated by the Government though the BJP, who is also in power at the Centre, has been insisting for last one year that a comprehensive relief package will be provided to victims,” said the veteran Congress leader.
