UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: Udhampur unit of Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today held a protest demonstration against levying of fee at Toll Plaza, Ban Talab Nagrota by National Highway Authority of India.
The protesting Congress workers, led by Anil Pachyala, district working Pradesh, raised slogans against the NHAI and also condemned the Government move of burdening the already burdened people of Jammu.
Pachyala said that the road to Udhampur has not been completed as yet but the Government has started charging toll from the people of Jammu region.
Others, who addressed the protesters, included Ashok Chandel, Dr Prasher, Magotra Suraj Choudhary, Ashok Khajuria and Shiv Baigra.
