VIJAYPUR, July 28: For involving more people in the party programmes and further strengthening Congress at grass root level, PCC member and Congress leader Arun Sharma organized a public meeting at Shiv Nagar, here today.
The meeting was attended by a number of Congress workers and prominent people of the area who highlighted the general problems like bad condition of lanes, drains and roads.
While addressing the gathering, Arun Sharma assured that he would leave no stone unturned for ensuring that basic facilities are provided to people of the area by taking up their issues before the concerned authorities. He urged people to strengthen Congress and claimed that the party was going to form next Government in Jammu Kashmir on its own while Ghulam Nabi Azad would be the next Chief Minister.
Others who addressed the meeting, included Bishamber Singh, Baisakhi Ram, S Sumiter Singh, Raj Kumar, Gulshan Lal and Rajesh Kumar.
