Cong workers meeting held

VIJAYPUR, Mar 10:  Senior Congress leader and member Pradesh Congress Committee, Arun Sharma convened a meeting of party workers and delegates of the constituency, here today.
A number of workers from block Purmandal, Vijaypur and  Samba of  Vijaypur Assembly segment took part in the meeting and highlighted various local issues.
Arun Sharma, while addressing  the gathering, stressed upon the delegates to work unitedly  for strengthening Congress and cautioned them from  the forces, which were working for self interests only. He reiterated his resolve to leave no stone unturned for highlighting the issues of general public. “We are real and loyal party activists,  our duty is to take care of grass root workers who are suffering for the last two decades,” he added and announced that village level committees of the party would be formed soon to attend the grievance  of the people.
The gathering was also addressed by other, who highlighted the local issues and problems being faced by the people.  They stressed the need  for repair of roads, streets, regular power supply, adequate medical facilities in rural areas and employment to youth.
Prominent among those, who took part in the meeting, included  Bishamber Singh Slathia, Capt Baldev, Capt  Bhalla, Capt Thoru Ram, Raj Kumar, Subedar Ganesh Pati, Rajesh, Gulshan, Sumiter Singh, Onkar Singh, Sardari Lal, Darshan Singh, Baisakhi Ram, Ajay Puri, Gian Chand, Parminder Singh, Kamal, Mansa Ram, Sardhari Lal, Jog Raj, Satish, Anil, Rehmat Ali and  others.
