SUNDERBANI/KHOUR, Mar 14: Congress Party took out `Hath Se Hath Jodo’ Yatra at Sunderbani in district Rajouri and Khour in district Jammu today.
JKPCC chief Vikar Rasool Wani while addressing party workers before taking out Padyatra at Sunderbani town said that Congress will emerge number one party in Assembly elections in Jammu & Kshmir and will form the government with like minded parties.
Wani who was accompanied by JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla, chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Ex- MP TS Bajwa, Ex- MLC Ved Mahajan, senior leaders Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, Amrit Bali and others, said that people are fed up with the authoritarian and anti- people policies of BJP in entire Jammu region too while Congress is the only choice of people in most parts of J &K because of its secular and pro- people policies. He said the people have seen the false and fake slogans and betrayals of BJP with each section especially Youth, farmers, traders and other sections and want to teach BJP a lesson to it in elections that is the reason of delay in Assembly elections as BJP is seeing writing on walls.
Raman Bhalla lashed out at BJP for crushing the voice of common people and giving blow after blow to the poor and youth. Each and every section is feeling the heat of BJP government wrong and dictatorial policies in Jammu and Kashmir and want to teach them a lesson. The educated youth are frustrated, the employees are harassed and all sections are fed up with BJP policies. He said BJP president totally neglected the people of his constituency and made fake promises while appreciated the commitment of former MLC Ravinder Sharma for always fighting for the people of the area.
Ravinder Sharma thanked people for massive response to the Yatra. Bhavishya Sudan, Block president NC Sharma, Ajit Singh, Tirth Ram, Yog Raj and several prominent leaders spoke and participated in the Yatra.
In Khour, former DyCM and senior Congress leader Tara Chand while leading Padyatra at village Khuda said that due to wrong policies of the BJP Govt the miseries of the people have increased. He said restoring peace addressing public issues should be the priority of the Government. With the return of complete peace, more and more tourist would visit J&K and its economy would also increase. Tara Chand said that Government m,ust fill up all the vacant posts. He said if people give chance to Congress, it would ensure better development and restore complete peace in J&K.
