JAMMU, Dec 31: Congress stands fully exposed, not escaping from its misdeeds and it is due to face wrath of public. This was stated by Adv. Sunil Sethi, chief State spokesperson, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while addressing media persons at party Headquarter here, today.
Sethi asked that why the Congress is hesitating to talk on “Christian Mishel” issue and is deliberately hiding important facts. He said that on December’29, Enforcement Directorate (ED) has disclosed certain astonishing facts before Patiala High Court, which point serious concerns on national security and role of certain influential persons linked to single family.
The statement of Mishel, who is accused of being a middleman and is under arrest, points to a single family which, Sethi claimed has been caught.
Sethi, on ED’s statement in court, said that Augusta Westland case accused Christian Mishel had made a reference to “Big Man”, “Party leader”, “R”, “Mrs. Gandhi” and the “son of an Italian lady”,.
Sethi accused that corruption in Augusta Westland VVIP helicopter deal was first of all raised in Italian Court, and Manmohan-Sonia headed UPA-2 Government didn’t provide any document to the Italian Court, also denying any sort of help to the investigation, which clearly indicates that Congress wanted to protect the culprits and BJP has sincerely tried to bring culprits to the Court of law.
He said that the case was handed over to CBI by then UPA Government which has been taken to practical shape by NDA which clearly indicates the commitment of BJP to bring the culprits to justice and to bring back all culprits to India by effectuating extradition of Mishel and others. Now Congress is feeling short of substantial proofs to save their skin, he said, adding Congress has adopted the sheepish way of hurling accuses at the BJP’s leadership who is acknowledged worldwide for his love for people, nation and the whole living kind.
Sethi said that Congress’s name is attached to the corruption in air, water, land, sky and even the underlands.
While giving details, he said that India had to purchase “12 helicopters with the expenditure of 37 Arab” with Rs 360 crore as bribe money. Italian Court has admitted bribery of 15 million dollars in the case.
He also mentioned the names of 13 persons including former Aiforce Chief, S. P. Tyagi. It was understood that most influential family of the nation got commission of Rs 125 Crore in the deal.
Congress is giving political tone which is however just a normal procedure of law, said Sethi and said that the people will give Gandhi family a befitting reply as the truth has finally exposed.
