Cong reviews political scenario in State

SRINAGAR,  June 25: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) leadership today reviewed  the overall socio-political scenario prevailing in the backdrop of imposition of Governor’s rule in the State and expressed anguish over the current situation prevailing in the Valley.
In a meeting of the Congress functionaries and legislators held under the leadership of PCC president GA Mir the members expressed serious concern over the recent developments in the State.  Former Union Minister Dr Karan Singh was also present in the meeting.
The meeting while taking stock of the current political situation in the State, held threadbare discussions with regard to overall socio-political scenario obtaining in the State in the backdrop of the imposition of Governor’s rule in the State and blamed both PDP- BJP for pushing the entire State to wall.
The meeting also blamed BJP or the crisis in the State, as that, the BJP while eyeing on 2019 Lok Sabha elections pulled out from the Govt to save it’s image, for the fact, BJP has lost trust of the people of Jammu, the situation has changed people are aware about the designs of Saffron party, which can go to any extent for political gains.
The meeting also discussed the mis-governance and misrule on the part of PDP -BJP coalition in the State, holding them responsible for the deterioration situation in the Valley and in border areas.
The members lashed out at BJP over failing the people of Jammu on every count, saying that BJP cannot escape the responsibility of the damages caused to the State, as they PDP- BJP have equally ruled the State for more than three years, pulling out from the Govt will not wash out the failures and wrong policies of the BJP, the meeting added and said people will not forgive them for the betrayal and exploitation they (PDP-BJP) have done to people for power.
