Cong rejects probe by Police in killings

SRINAGAR, Dec 4: Reac-ting to the probe ordered into the killings of former Sarpanch and an employee of Fisheries Department as stated by DGP, Congress today rejected the probe and reiterated its demand of time bound  probe by sitting High Court judge inorder to  ascertain the reality behind the killings.
“The Party believes that the probe by sitting High Court judge can only satisfy the people of Dooru or Devsar,” PCC chief G A Mir said.
Commenting on the statement of Director General of Police regarding probe into the Killing of Ex- Sarpanch  and employee of Fisheries Department, PCC chief  has reiterated that   the time bound probe into these killing should  be ordered  by a sitting High Court judge to ascertain the reality behind these unfortunate incidents of killings. He said that the probe  by the Police Department will not satisfy the people of Dooru and  Devsar.
Mir expressed serious concern over the innocent killings and urged the Govt to identify the culprits for severe punishment.
