JAMMU, June 2: BJP national vice president and Prabhari J&K Avinash Rai Khanna today accused the previous Central Governments which, were mostly headed by Congress of playing the Dalit card for its vote bank politics.
Khanna who was addressing the party’s Dalit Samelan here today organized by BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha in connection with completion of three year’s of Narendra Modi Government at Centre said “BJP works on the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas” and it does not discriminate with any caste and creed or region, religion or section of the society”.

Khanna said today India is witnessing a change in the basic structure of the working system in every sphere, which was earlier marred by the inefficient and the corrupt Congress led Governments at the Centre.
He said that today India is celebrating three years of good governance of BJP led Government at the Centre. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working very sincerely for the upliftment of the poor and down-trodden of the society. Emphasis is being laid on socio- economic uplifment of the weaker sections, SCs in particular.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that J&K State is flooded with the plethora of public friendly schemes from the Central Government. The PM himself is very concerned for this State and he often visits this border State. He said that the development of a nation is not possible until a holistic approach is made towards all the sections of the society and BJP is committed to reach to every single person irrespective of his or her faith or economic status.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while highlighting the schemes of the Centre Government, explained that it is only the BJP and its Government at the Centre which has recognized the services of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar and initiated a number of projects in his memory. Social and political empowerment of the weaker sections have been on top agenda of Modi Government, he added.
MLA Samba Dr. D K Manyal who chaired the function said that BJP is a people friendly party with popular support from all the communities. He complimented PM Modi for the enormous support to the development schemes towards the neglected community and assured the public that the rights of the “Dalits” will be taken care of by the present dispensation.
Mamta Singh, while addressing the gathering, particularly mentioned about the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, “Ujjawala”, “Maternity Benefits” scheme for women.
District Presidents Jangbir Singh and Brijeshwar Rana, State Working Committee Member Kashmir Singh, Mahila Morcha District President Reba Singh and district secretary (Org.) Naresh Kumar also addressed the “Dalit Sammelan”.
