DAUSA, (RAJASTHAN) Sept 26: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, J&K, Kavinder Gupta today accused the Congress Government in Rajasthan of being involved in rampant corruption and making this scourge a new norm. He also hit out at the Ashok Gehlot Government alleging it has failed on all fronts including law and order.
Speaking at the meeting here, the BJP leader said that the Congress Government did not fulfill its promises made to people especially on women’s safety, farmers’ loan waiver and unemployment. He said that take any sector or service for which the State Government under Congress party is responsible, people without any exception will tell the truth about total collapse of the dispensation.
He said that people had not voted Ashok Gehlot for this disastrous model of governance rather they had expected justice and efficient administration to bail out population from problems and necessities’ dearth. He urged the people not to fall prey to Congress’ trap yet again but it is time to support BJP, which has zero tolerance-stand against corruption as it has proved this in all the States where it is in power and above all in Centre, where corruption has become the thing of the past.
He said people should join hands with BJP to lead to a change in Rajasthan after decimating Congress for its number of misdeeds undermining the power of electorate. He said that people in the State are fed up of the misrule of incumbents and there is no doubt that the BJP will form Government with a thumping majority after polls. “Only BJP can provide corruption-free and progressive dispensation with a promise of prolific policies and plans for the people”, he maintained.
It is pertinent to mention that Kavinder Gupta is in Rajasthan as Prabhari, and he will be campaigning in five constituencies including Bandikui, Mahoba, Sikrai, Dausa and Lalsot in days to come as today was the first day of campaign in the Western State of the country, which is soon going for polls.
Meanwhile, five other senior leaders from J&K including Dr Nirmal Singh, MP Jugal Kishore, , Devender Singh Rana and Shakti Parihar are also camping in Rajasthan for campaigning and garnering votes for the party. They also highlighted the dismal state of governance in Rajasthan, accusing the people in power of showing highest degree of indifference, instability and incompetence.
