JAMMU, Jan 28: Reacting sharply to the repeated charges of Kathua Congress leaders, the State spokesperson of BJP, Balbir Ram Rattan, today said that Congress leaders of the district have turned issueless after sanctioning and undertaking massive developmental activities in the District by Narendra Modi Government.
“The Congress leaders own nothing to claim except making failed attempts to once again mislead the people before the general elections in next few months. They have just one line slogan, one line philosophy and one line ideology, which is only to defame BJP,” Balbir said, adding, the Congress leaders lacks vision to see development on ground and do not miss a day to make statements, which are baseless, false and reflective of attempt to regain confidence of the people.
Reminding the Congress leaders about Keediyam-Gadyal Bridge, Bio-Tech Park, Shahpur-Kandi Project, Medical College, Engineering College under RUSA, 350 Modern Toilets on zero line, widening of roads from Palli to Nagri and Chadwal to Sanji Morh, bridges of Tarnah, Padori, Bobia, Ujh and Jathana, the Spokesperson said that these are just few important projects of Kathua, which should be appreciated by them.
Balbir said that Congress leaders, who makes fake hue and cry for Billawar, also need to know that during three and half years of BJP coalition in the State; work on 22 roads at the cost of Rs 102 crore has been taken under PMGSY sector; Rs 20 crore hospital coming up in Billawar; to promote tourism, Billawar-Dugain Tourism Development Authority has been constituted; new Degree College for Ramkot stands sanctioned and the list is so long.
Balbir expressed hope that the Congress leaders would visit the ground to see the ongoing developmental works before making false statements.
