Cong for fast track filling up of vacant posts

JAMMU, Aug 29: Several Senior Congress leaders have demanded fast track filling of all vacant posts of different categories in various government departments in the State from amongst the local youth of the Jammu and Kashmir on fast track and in a time bond manner.
In a joint statement senior congress leaders said that all vacant posts in various departments which have remained unfilled due to the mess created by the BJP-PDP Coalition Government in the State and the uncertainty thereafter till date should be filled up from local youths of Jammu and Kashmir on fast track basis besides regularization of all daily wagers, temporary, contractual, need base, adhoc and other category of employees working in various departments  for the past several years.
They said previous PDP-BJP Coalition Government indulged in favoritism & nepotism and large number of posts remained unfilled because of miss-governance during all these years and described it a step in right direction as announced by Governor to fill available vacancies in various departments amongst from all local youths of Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that large scale rise in unemployment during the past three years which has been declared as the highest in the last 45 years as per  official data and as a result unemployed educated youth are frustrated a lot besides the daily wagers, temporary, contractual, need base, adhoc and other category workers were assured regularization from time to time  and demanded that their services should regularized by the Government immediately.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leaders have taken strong exception to the highly objectionable political utterances by Governor Satya Pal Malik against the Congress leadership and asked him to maintain the sanctity of the highest constitutional position he holds.
