Cong discriminated against Udhampur-Kathua: Dr Jitendra

 UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: BJP candidate for Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha Constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh said here today, Congress leadership has constantly discriminated against Udhampur-Kathua region simply to keep the separatist friendly Kashmir- centric regional parties in good humour and share power with them.
Addressing a series of road-shows at Bararian, Thil Roun, Gharian, Pattan, Dhanas and Chenani along the Udhampur-Chenani Highway and a function organized by Baba Ram Dev’s Patanjali Yog Samiti at Udhampur here today, Dr Jitendra Singh said, this is not an ordinary election but a battle for survival and for the dignity and pride of the region.
He said it is a pity, that Congress accused BJP of supporting the cause of VDCs and SPOs who had offered their services when militancy was at its peak. Appropriate enumeration for VDCs will be BJP’s top priority, he assured.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, development of roads, irrigation schemes and employment generation for youth through various centrally sponsored schemes will be taken upon within one year of the election of BJP MP from here.
A vote for Narendra Modi will be a vote for India, said Dr Jitendra Singh and urged everyone to press the button on “Kamal” (Lotus flower).
He said, the entire nation is looking forward to Narendra Modi being sworn in as the Prime Minister of India and let us not miss this opportunity of benefiting from the role model of governance which Modi has envisaged for us.
Among others, general secretary (organization) Ashok Kaul, Somraj Khajuria, Dinanath Bhagat, Pawan Khajuria, Raj Kumar Buccha and Ashwani Chrungoo also joined the campaign today.
