JAMMU, Mar 25: Cong has demanded expansion of testing facilities especially in the private sector also besides ensuring complete compliance of lock down in letter and spirit in all parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma has expressed resentment over lack of adequate testing facilities including preliminary sanitizing testing facilities despite clear indications of the spread of the diseases from the past three months.
He said that as per threat of the situation, there are several inadequacies on various fronts including personal protection equipments for health workers and others on essential duties, highly insufficient ventilators and fully equipped facilities outside hospitals required to deal with unprecedented situation.
He also highlighted the mismanagement of the lock down in some areas and stressed for uniform implementation and involvement of grass root field functionaries including PRIs for full awareness and strict implementations.
Sharma re-iterated appeal to party cadres and grass root workers to also extend full cooperation to the people and Govt machinery in this challenge. He also appealed to all political, social and other organizations to pool their efforts in this hour of crisis and threat of existence of mankind.
