JAMMU, July 23: Expressing surprise over the claim by the Central Govt in the Parliament about providing huge number of jobs in Govt and private sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, JK Congress has asked the Government to public the details as the big claim of the Government appears to be wrong and false.
Seeking details of the claim of the Central Government in the Parliament regarding 30,000 jobs in public sectors and 5 lakh in private sectors to J&K youth, Congress said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are the worst sufferers of the policies of BJP Govt, which has been playing with the future of youth.
Raising questions about the figures of the Government placed in the parliament, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has sought the mode of selections in past two years to recruit such large number of youth as claimed especially in the PSUs in J&K.
The highest level of unemployment since independence in Jammu and Kashmir has been recorded but the Government has surprised by the figures of jobs in Government and private sector post August 5, 2019.
The promises of filling up 50,000 jobs post August 2019, within three months was a great betrayal and false claims of employment in Government and private sector post 2019 is worst joke with the youths of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that Government failed to complete selection of 8500 Class 4th posts in more than two years while selections of PSI has been quashed due to bunglings while FAA selections are under scanner, 3400 posts of Class IV is still pending, the aspirants for various posts are on streets, so how many jobs were actually given and where from these figures come, as no major private sector has landed so far in J&K in recent years.
Apart from unemployed youth, the daily rated workers like daily wagers, need based, contractuals, adhoc, consolidated and other temporary employees are on streets for eight years, seeking fulfillment of the commitments of BJP leadership of regularisation of their services but the Government is ruthlessly crushing their struggle, the spokesman added.
