JAMMU, Aug 4: Pradesh Congress today celebrated the verdict of Supreme Court staying the conviction of Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi.
As the news report on a stay on conviction, was heard a large number of Congress leaders and workers rushed to the party office Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu where sweets were distributed amidst beating of drums. They raised slogans in favour of Rahul Gandhi and the Supreme Court.
JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani while speaking to the media persons outside party office welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court and said that truth has prevailed in the matter. Rahul Gandhi will continue raising the voice of the poor and the downtrodden like before and no body will be able to stop him.
Wani said that Congress always believed in the democracy and the Constitution and the judiciary. He said that Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi will defeat the BJP Govt and there shall be change in the 2024 elections.

Speaking on the occasion Bhalla said that Supreme Court today took a wise decision by staying the conviction of Rahul Gandhi. This has spread joy amongst the Congress workers and the people of all walks of life who have great hopes from Rahul Gandhi who always lead from the front without fear from the ruling BJP who is taking all foul means to stop him from 2024 elections.
