JAMMU, Feb 14: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that the Congress and its ilk have turned so apathetic that to express solidarity with the families of the Pulwama martyrs who attained martyrdom on this day in 2019 and pay tributes to countless Shaheeds who laid down their lives protecting the nation, they have chosen to rake-up the contentious issue questioning the credibility of the national leadership and the Indian Army.
Paying glowing tributes to Pulwama martyrs the senior BJP leader said that every citizen of the country is observing the anti-national stance of some political leaders and will respond befittingly when the appropriate time will come. He said that by challenging the integrity of the Indian defence forces, the Congress and its sycophants have been exposed badly thus giving a clear cut vision to the people of the country to choose between nationalist BJP and the forces acting against the country and its interests including the Congress.
“The antagonism showcased by the Congress after becoming defunct in the national as well as local politics is not at all in the interest of the country because in recent times it has come to fore that this party can go to any extent to remain relevant in the politics”, Kavinder maintained, adding that the time has come when the people should teach a lesson to this oldest political party in the country so that it is forced to mend its ways and in future its leadership never dares to go against the interests of the country.
