JAMMU, Sept 7: Chairman National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh has alleged that both Congress and BJP have been playing as team B & C of the ruling National Conference.
In a press statement issued here today, Prof Singh expressed shock and utter disappointment on the kind of political role the State Congress and BJP have been playing, as if they were B&C teams of the National Conference. He alleged that several Congress leaders were facing corruption charges and they are demanding better revenue generating portfolios in the Government.
The NPP leader alleged that Congress was responsible for the tragic affairs of Pakistani refugees in the State who denied them their due for the last six decades. Now, sensing the pulse of refugees, the Congress created ruckus in Delhi by shedding crocodile tears for the plight of Pakistani refugees before party president Sonia Gandhi. On the other hand, BJP has been exploiting Jammu Pradesh in the name of refugees, religion and tried to grab the opportunity during ‘Bum Bum Bhole’ episode. It was BJP who had created storm against NC in Jammu region. The BJP MLAs also stood exposed during Council elections. Nobody today knows whether BJP is in opposition or with Government, he maintained.
Prof Singh appealed the people of Jammu to join hand together and defeat the authoritarian and unfair Government. He said NPP is the only party which can come to the expectations of the people from Jammu region.
