Cong asks Govt to solve issues of teachers, Anganwari workers

JAMMU,  June 11:  The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh  Congress Committee (JKPCC) has asked the State Government to immediately address  the genuine issues of agitating ReT/SSA teachers Anganwari workers  and helpers of the Social Welfare Department, who are agitating for more than two months in this scorching heat.
In a statement issued here today,  JKPCC chief spokesperson  Ravinder Sharma has expressed grave concern over the continued neglect of the issues of agitating workers of different departments and the indifferent attitude of the Government in this regard.
He said that it is very unfortunate that the Government is unsympathetic towards the plight of SSA teachers and Anganwari workers/helpers who are on roads at this scorching heat for their genuine demands.
He said the salary/ renumeration is the basic right of the employee/worker and  it should be paid regularly.  It is unfortunate that despite such long agitation during scorching heat, the Government has remained unmoved.
The Government  should  immediately find an amicable way out to end the agitation and accept their other genuine demands, the chief spokesman added.
