Conference on Shah-e-Hamdan held at KU

Srinagar, Nov 14: A high-level conference on Heritage of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani was held here on Saturday jointly by Embassy of Tajikistan, Kashmir University and Kashmir Society.
The conference was held in the hall of Central Asian studies of Kashmir University and was attende by large number of people including Vice Chancellor of Central University Dr Mehraj-ud-Din Mir , who was chief guest and Ambassador of Tajikistan Mirzosharif, who was guest of honour.
On the occasion, the chairman of Kashmir Society, Khwaja Farooq Renzu, Dean Academics Professor Ashraf Wani, and Head of Department G N Khaki delivered key addresses in valedictory session of the high profile conference of Mir Syed Ali Shah Hamdai, also called ‘Amir-e-Kabir’.
In his introductory address, Renzu said that civilization of love and Aitqaad were shaped by Bulbulshah in 1321 AD and further consolidated to paramount heights by Syed Ali Hamdani. Prof Ashraf Wani pointed out the contribution of Amir-e-Kabir in Aitqaad and Sufi thoughts.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan, Mirzosharif in his speech said that it is very important for all scholars to work on Heritage of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani. He emphasized ideological bridge is to be re-built to bring ideologies of love together. He said the terror has no place in real and pure Islamic thoughts and everyone should work for strengthening humanity.
Prof Mehraj-ud-Din, the VC of Central University, in his presidential addresses said that induction of skill development during his period has significantly contributed towards the better future of the youth. He complimented Kashmir society headed by Khwaja Farooq Renzushah and Central Asian Department of Kashmir University for organizing such great seminar. He thanked ambassador Tajikistan for his extraordinary key address in which he underscored importance of ideology of Sufi thoughts of Amir Kabir based on love in present era.
