Confederation postpones proposed gherao of Assembly

UDHAMPUR Jan 14: A meeting of the Confederation leaders J&K, Unit of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organizations was held here today in which various social, religious, political, Sarpanchs, Panchs, retired employees  students & youth participated.
State president RK Kalsotra also attended the said meeting along with other prominent Citizens Dina Nath (retd) ACR, Kaka Ram, president Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Dhani Ram Attri, leader Panther Party, Ram Pal Bhagat Sarpanch, Dina Nath (retd) CEO, Kuldeep Kumar, Youth leader Gaddi Sabha, Dr Ravinder Dogra.
Addressing the gathering Mr Kalsotra , apprised to participants that due to sudden  death of Mufti Mohd Sayeed Chief Minister , the new Government has not been sworn in & State has been put under the Governor  Rule. In view of political developments the proposed gherao of January 18 of the State Assembly has temporary been suspended. New date will be fixed & declared subsequently after the new Government is sworn – in.
In the meantime, Confederation will request the Governor to issue the ordinance for nullifying the HC order for stopage of reservation in promotion to the beneficiaries category peoples.
He, however, appealed to the masses & Confederation cadre to make the masses aware and be ready to stage their strength & power following the next call of the Confederation in this regard. He further appealed them not to be guided by false propaganda being floated against the Confederation.
