JAMMU, Jan 14: Sub-Judge Jammu Kusoom Pandita today directed Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station City to conduct investigation into the complaint highlighting objectionable remarks of Member of Legislative Council.
In the complaint filed by Mohd Saddiq Khan, prayer has been made for registration of FIR against MLC Showkat Ganai, who had stated in the Legislative Council that Kashmiri youth will continue to pick up guns and had even described slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani as martyr.
After hearing counsel for the petitioner, Sub-Judge Jammu Kusoom Pandita forwarded the complaint to Police Station City for investigation under Section 156(3) CrPC.
