JAMMU, May 12: Condemnation poured in over killing of Revenue Department employee and Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat by the terrorists in Chadoora area of District Budgam today afternoon.
BJP National General Secretary and Incharge of Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh condemned the killing of Kashmiri Pandit employee in Chadoora area of Budgam district. Chugh told media that this is cowardly act and killing innocent has no justification. He said that those involved in this heinous crime should be brought to justice as soon as possible. Chugh also expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family.
JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir and various other party leaders have expressed deep shock over the killing of Rahul Bhat by unidentified gunmen and conveyed heartfelt condolences to bereaved family. The leaders emphasized that Government must take effective measure to end the bloodshed.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has condemned the attack on a Kashmiri Pandit, Rahul Bhat. Bukhari said that it is very tragic to see this senseless bloodshed of innocents. While expressing sympathy with the family members, Bukhari said people who don’t want sustained peace and stability in the valley are the one’s behind such incidents.
JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla condemned the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Government official Rahul Bhat. He said that the security situation is worsening in the Kashmir Valley and the Government is busy presenting a fake rosy picture of Kashmir.
Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir expressed dismay over the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit, Rahul Bhat. “Killing of Rahul a Kashmiri Pandit employee is a most detestable act. I condemn it. My whole hearted support and sympathies with the bereaved. RIP”, Mir wrote on Twitter.
Former MLA and senior AAP Leader Balwant Singh Mankotia condemned the killing of Kashmiri pandit. In his tweet Mankotia said, “Strongly condemn the killing of Rahul Bhat in Budgam. My heartfelt condolences and prayers with the bereaved family. Government should ensure the safety of general public at priority”.
Former MLC and spokesperson BJP J&K Girdhari Lal Raina said that in yet another unfortunate, painful, tragic and cowardly act, an innocent, helpful, ever smiling Kashmiri Pandit boy Rahul Bhat employed under PM’s Package has been mercilessly assassinated in Chadoora, District Budgam.
CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami condemned the killing of Kashmiri Pandit employee and termed the incident as unfortunate and tragic. He said such barbaric incidents have no place in a civilized society. He demanded an immediate end to the killings.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC condemned the killing of young Kashmiri Pandit youth. He urged the Lt Governor and Director General of Police (DGP) to beef up the security to the members of minority community of Kashmiri Pandits. Kundan Kashmiri told to PM package employees not to attend their duties till Government assures them full security cover.
Apni Party, Provincial President, Jammu and Former Minister, Manjit Singh condemned the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit revenue employee Rahul Bhat. “The anti-national elements do not want peace in Kashmir and they are trying everything to keep the trouble continuing in the valley,” he said.
Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen condemned the killing of Rahul Bhat. In a statement, Hakeem Yaseen demanded that the perpetrators of the heinous crime should be brought to book immediately.
All India Migrant Coordination Committee chief Desh Rattan Pandita and, Chairman BK Raina and all other members condemned the killing of Rahul Bhat and conveyed their sympathy to the bereaved family.
Farooq Andrabi has expressed heartfelt condolences on killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat. Andrabi demanded justice and hoped that the perpetrators of the crime are brought to justice at its earliest.
Jammu Muslim Front leadership has condemned the brutal killing of innocent employee in Budgam. The leadership of the Front has appealed to Prime Minister to order a probe and book the culprits.
President of Jammu Heritage Society Bhuvneshwar Gandotra condemned barbaric killing of Rahul Bhat in Budgam. “I am sure that security forces shall trace the terrorists responsible for this act and restore the confidence of the minority community in Kashmir and provide security to them”, he added.
The office bearers of Vision Kashmir held a meeting and condemned the killing of PM Package employee Rahul Bhat. Sunil Fotedar Convenor of the Organization said Government of India and JKUT Government have failed to protest the PM package employees. While expressing condolences to the family as Bhat was the only bread earner for the family, Fotedar urged Lt Governor to take stringent measures to protect the innocent minorities.
All the members and devotees of Sharika Peeth Sanstha Jammu condemned the killing of the Kashmiri Pandit and appealed to Lt Governor to provide adequate security to PM Package employees. All employees should be adjusted in Jammu till militancy is curbed, the participants demanded.
Jagti tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front condemned the assassination of Rahul Bhat. Criticizing the Government, Shadi Lal Pandita has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to visit migrant colonies of Kashmir valley and listen to their plights.
Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha Chairman/President Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan condemned the cowardly killing of Rahul Bhat. Sabha demanded concrete steps to protect the lives of innocent Hindus of Kashmir valley.
President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Jammu KK Khosa denounces the dastardly killing of Rahul Bhat. He said that the killing took place at a time when the tourist season is at its peak. The Sabha demands that adequate security should be deployed in such places which are vulnerable and measures should be taken to flush out terrorists.
Harmohinder Singh President Displaced Kashmiri Sikh Conference has condemned the dastardly act by terrorists where a young Kashmiri Pandit Government employee namely Rahul Bhat was killed in his office. “We request the government to initiate in-depth enquiry into this cold-blooded murder of an innocent person and arrest the culprits, he added.
