JAMMU, Nov 29: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation (PIL) alleging hushing up of Rajouri Development Authority scam, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Tashi Rabstan has directed enquiry officer to conclude enquiry or appear in person.
“Despite given last opportunity to conclude the enquiry as noticed in the order dated 14.08.2018, the same has not been concluded till date”, the DB observed, adding “Senior AAG appearing for the State pointed out that the earlier enquiry officer was replaced by a fresh enquiry officer Shailendra Kumar on 29.08.2018”.
“Nearly three months have passed, but still the enquiry has not been concluded”, the DB observed and directed that the exercise shall be completed before the next date.
