JAMMU, July 7- Former MLC and chief spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Ravinder Sharma has expressed concern over the emergence of four suspected positive cases of covid – 19 in Sunderbani area and appealed to the people to strictly follow the guidelines to check the spread of the disease.
In a statement Ex- MLC said that the people must not take things casually as number of covid – 19 cases are on the rise in J&K and entire country. One lakh plus cases have added in five days only while our country is at third place now in the world.
The administration must ensure all sorts of facilities to the people during the period of restrictions in the red zone. The administration should ensure that the common man especially ailing and those require extra care must not suffer.
He said that special measures and machinism should be put in place and made functional to minimize suffering during emergencies. He also appealed the Govt to provide regular supply of power and water supply in the area.
