JAMMU, Oct 20: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina its president expressed grave concern over prevailing insanitation in the area.
As per a release, the meeting said that despite taking the matter in the notice of the Municipal authorities no attention is paid to solve the problem. The heaps of garbage are lying at several places creating health hazards in the area.
The meeting in an appeal to Joint Commissioner Administration, Health Office JMC urged them to visit the area and to have the at and on spot study of the situation there.
The meeting was addressed by M L Pandita, general secretary and others who attended included Mohan Lal, Behari Lal, C L Zutshi, Shamboo Nath and Pairay Lal.
