JAMMU, June 16: The computerization under Core Banking Solution (CBS) at Vijaypur branch of the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank (CCB) Ltd Jammu was inaugurated today by Chering Dorjay, Minister Cooperatives, J&K.
The computerization under CBS was also inaugurated at Transport Nagar branch of the bank by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Chering Dorjay, Minister Cooperatives, J&K, and Sukhnandan Choudhary, Minister for Public Health Engineering and Irrigation & Flood Control, J&K.
Now all the branches of the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd Jammu are computerized under CBS.
Dinesh Gupta, Chairman of the bank informed that after computerization under CBS, the bank is in a position to provide on line banking as well other facilities such as RTGS and NEFT. Computerization under CBS shall reduce the overhead cost of transaction and enhance the efficiency of work.
A large number of distinguished customers and patrons of the bank were present on the occasion.
Minister of Cooperatives while speaking on the occasion emphasized the management of the bank to pay focus on the customers. He exhorted upon them to give hassle free banking services to the customers.
Speaker, Legislative Assembly also apprised that the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank was giving good services to the people of Jammu especially the business community.
Sukhnandan Choudhary impressed upon the management and staff of the bank to work dedicatedly to make the bank a successful and vibrant entity. He assured that the State Government shall extend full support to the bank.
Deepak Gupta, vice chairman, Karunesh Gupta, Director, Koushal Kumar Gupta, Director, Parshotam Singh Pawar, Director, Charanjit Singh Raina, Director, and many others officers of the bank were present on the occasion.
