JAMMU, Nov 28: On the directions of District Develop-ment Commissioner Jammu, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, a joint team of Revenue officers and General Manager NHIDCL under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kanta Rakwal, inspected the alignment proposed for widening of Jammu-Akhnoor Road.
Assistant Commissioner, Jammu, Nisar Ahmed and concerned officers accompanied her during the visit .
Some of the important bottleneck points at BSF camp Paloura and at Purkhoo were discussed on the spot.
Additional Deputy Commis-sioner discussed all these issues with the stakeholders at both the spots and the issues were solved amicably and accordingly GM NHIIDCL was directed to complete the process of fixation of alignment and submit fresh papers so that acquisition proceedings can be initiated in time bound manner. The acquisition process involves total 27 villages for which notification under Section has been issued for 13 villages.
Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan has issued strict directions to complete the whole acquisition process within the fixed time scheduled.
