JAMMU, Oct 25: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vice-president Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Rajesh Gupta today claimed that Union Home Minister, Amit Shah during his visit to Jammu not even uttered a word in favour of farmers whose paddy crop suffered huge losses.
The AAP leader said that recent heavy rains and hailstorm damaged the standing paddy crop in many areas of Jammu region and the government must compensate the affected farmers.
He also expressed concern over the loss of property at several places due to the incessant rains and appealed to the LG administration to issue directions to the concerned authorities to provide immediate compensation to victims.
