SRINAGAR, Aug 26: A commuter was killed while two others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley.
A police spokesperson said that an unknown Wagon-R hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Rafeeqa Begum, wife of Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Zurgund Budgam at her native village. She was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
An unknown Alto car hit and injured a pedestrian Ayan Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat of Wakura at Wakura crossing, in Ganderbal district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Sumo bearing registration number JK09 1754 hit and injured a pedestrian Shazia Jan daughter of Ghulam Nabi Lone of Kralgund at Supernaghama, in Handwara town of Kupwara district. She was shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
