DODA, Nov 22: Block Lok Shiksha Simitee Bhagwah, in collaboration with Zonal Education Office Bhagwah, organized one-day Community Mobilization and Orientation Training Programme of Volunteer Teachers and Preraks at Government Girls Upper Primary School Bhagwah, here today.
Tehsildar Bhagwah, Mohit Gupta was chief guest of the programme. He exhorted the VTs/Preraks/PRI to work for the noble cause and to uplift the society dragging it out of the darkness of illiteracy.
ZEO Bhagwah also asked Preraks and VTs to work with zest and zeal for eradicating illiteracy from its root in block Bhagwah.
The programme was attended by Chairman BLSS, (BDO) Bhagwah, who stressed on PRI to implement the programme in mission mode.
On this occasion, Ab Razaq, District Incharge, delivered the lecture on aims and objectives of this programme, which include promoting a learning society by providing opportunities to neo-literate adults for life-long learning.
Resource persons Shameem Ahmed Master, Mohd Yusuf Master and Block coordinator Mohd Younis delivered lectures on the importance of Adult Education.
Later, a rally was also flagged off by Tehsildar Bhagwah, BDO Bhagwah and ZEO Bhagwah.
