Committee to work out modalities for exchange of land

JAMMU, Oct 26: The State Government has constituted a committee to work out the operational modalities for the exchange of land from Industrial Estate at Ompora, Budgam with the land of Forest Department at Shalteng for establishment of Industrial Estate at Shalteng.
Headed by Chief Secretary as the Chairman, the committee shall be comprising Administrative Secretary Industries & Commerce Department and Administrative Secretary Forest, Environment and Ecology Department as its members.
The Managing Director, State Forest Corporation and the MD, J&K SIDCO Ltd shall jointly prepare a draft proposal containing all requisite details of the land proposed to be exchanged and place the same before the committee through the Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department for the purpose.
Based on the report of the Committee, the Industries and Commerce Department will place the proposal before the Chief Minister for consideration and approval.
