Committee formed to oversee activities of State Food Security Mission

JAMMU, Mar 8: The Government today constituted a State Food Security Mission Executive Committee to oversee activities of the Mission in J&K.
Headed by the Chief Secretary as its Chairman, the Executive Committee shall be comprising Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu/Kashmir, Administrative Secretaries of PHE, I&FC Department, Agriculture, Horticulture, RDD, Social Welfare, Tribal Affairs and FCS&CA Department as the Members.
Director Agriculture Jammu (State Mission Director), Director Agriculture Kashmir, Director Horticulture Jammu/Kashmir, Project Director of ICAR Institutes, representatives of NABARD and Lead Bank J&K shall also be Members of the executive Committee.
