JAMMU, July 16: For setting up of a separate Veterinary University in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Government has constituted a high-level committee to examine the proposal in this regard.
Headed by Chief Secretary, the eight-member committee will submit its recommendations to the Government within a period of one month.
Members of the committee, include Administrative Secretaries of Planning and Development Department, Finance Department, Agriculture Production Department, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST Kashmir/Jammu, Prof Salim Iqbal, HoD Veterinary Physiology SKUAST Kashmir and Prof Promod Baru, OSD to VC SKUAST Jammu.
