Many political activists join Apni Party

SRINAGAR, June 8: In a major development, Apni Party witnessed a major breakthrough as scores of political activists from Ramhal, Handwara joined the Apni Party in presence of Party president Altaf Bukhari today.
The joining took place at its party office at Church Lane, Sonwar in Srinagar. Besides Bukhari, former minister and Apni Party senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, former MLA and JKAP general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial president Kashmir Mohd Ashraf Mir and several others were also present.
While welcoming the new entrants into the party fold Bukhari said the party witnessed a conducive day and it is a matter of pride for the Apni Party that people are coming together for achieving the goal of development, empowerment and justice. The huge number of joinings especially from various political parties clearly delivers the idea and ambition for which our Party is striving.
“I wholeheartedly welcome the entrants into the party fold and I am sure that we collectively can create a change in the society. I also want to emphasize upon the new entrants to work in a transparent and honest manner and reach out to the people at grass-root level,” he said.
A large number of political workers associated with other parties have shifted to Apni Party. Those who joined the party included former District secretary PDP Kupwara Akash Ashraf Khan, Zonal president NC Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Political activist Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, NC Sarpanch Mohammad Sideeq Bajad, Ex- Sarpanch PC Abdul Ahad Wani, Political activist Rouf Ahmad Khan, Sarpanch PC Abdul Rashid Malik, Political Activist Sanaullah Bhat, Nazir Ahmad, senior worker PC Farooq Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Yousuf Bhadana, Tariq Ahmad Mir, Shabir Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Yaseen Bajad, Molvi Ilmdeen, Idrees Ahmad and several others.
