Raising slogans in support of their demand, the protesting students stormed into the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat and remained there for half an hour till the JU administration assured to look into their demand.
Meanwhile, reports from Bhaderwah said that students of GDC Bhaderwah also protested for the postponement of examination scheduled from January 22. They said that online classes conducted this year were not effective as they did not have access to the high speed internet.
They demanded that either syllabus should be curtailed or examinations be postponed to March. The protest was led by Tehmina Bano, student of BA part one, who said that considering the extraordinary situation and challenges posed due to the pandemic and 2G network in Jammu and Kashmir, the examination should be postponed.
