JAMMU, Aug 16: As the admission seekers continued protest for their absorption in the colleges, Cluster University today authorized the Principals of all the four city colleges under it to give admissions as per their feasibility.
The college Principals have been asked to first accommodate those students, who have already applied for the admission with 55 percent cut off till August 18 and if feasible, they may invite fresh applications for admissions on August 20.
Decision in this regard was taken after meeting of Dean Academics, Cluster University with Principals of Cluster University colleges, including Principal GGM Science College, Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar, Principal SPMR College of Commerce and Principal MAM College.
Earlier, the aggrieved admission seekers held a protest demonstration and raised slogans against the Cluster University. They were demanding admission to all.
The protest demonstrations were led by different student leaders, including Atul Sudan, State Vice President JJSF.
